One integration, every vertical

Inventory and API connectivity through one integration

Integrate once with Synapse and get normalised, cached, price-honest supply from airlines, hotels, activities, insurance, visa, cab, bus, ferry and cruise, plus NDC content and your own contracts in the same response. The mappings are maintained for you.

The challenge

Every supplier is a project that never ends

Dozens of XML and JSON feeds, each with its own structure, error model and release cadence. Normalising them is a large build; keeping them working is a permanent tax on the engineering team, paid every time a supplier changes something.

The Elkanio approach

One schema, maintained by the platform

Synapse normalises every supplier into one REST schema with one order model. Elkanio NDC adds airline retailing content beside GDS and LCC. Nexus adds your own contracts. When a supplier changes, supervised agents patch the mapping, prove it and promote it.

How Elkanio delivers

Capabilities that map to the problem.

01Synapse

One REST schema across verticals

One request can span flights, hotels, insurance and ground. Components come back typed and normalised whatever the source, described by a published OpenAPI 3 schema.

02Elkanio NDC

NDC beside GDS and LCC

Continuous pricing, rich content and ancillaries from airline NDC channels returned in the same result set as EDIFACT and LCC fares, with order management and servicing included.

03Nexus

Your fares and contracts in the same feed

Negotiated airline fares and contracted hotels, transfers and activities loaded without developers and returned through the same API beside public supply, with channel-specific pricing.

04Synapse

Caching and routing

Distributed caching returns availability quickly and refreshes prices so cached and confirmed prices agree. Suppliers are ranked per route by live latency and success rate.

05Synapse

Self-healing mappings

Schema drift is detected, patched, replayed against recorded traffic and promoted behind a versioned mapping with rollback. Engineers review the audit log instead of firefighting.

06Developer tools

Sandbox, webhooks and keys

A sandbox with production parity, webhooks for order, ticketing, policy and payment events, per-key rate limits, idempotency keys and request logs.

What changes

What changes for your business.

01

One integration to maintain

Your front end talks to one schema. Supplier changes, versions and quirks are absorbed behind it.

02

New content without new projects

A new airline, bedbank or vertical is enabled on the platform, not built into your codebase.

03

Engineering back on the product

The team that was maintaining feeds works on search, conversion and features again.

Typical rollout

Start with one product. Add the next when it pays for itself.

Every product runs on the same core, so each phase builds on the last without a migration. The order below is how most customers in this situation sequence it; your plan is agreed in the demo.

  1. Phase 1

    Sandbox and mapping

Keys, sandbox and the schema mapped to your front end; your existing supplier credentials connected through Synapse.

  2. Phase 2

    Migrate behind Synapse

Traffic moved supplier by supplier behind the one schema, with the old connections kept live until parity is proven.

  3. Phase 3

    Add NDC and own contracts

Airlines enabled per market through Elkanio NDC; negotiated fares and contracted hotels, transfers and activities loaded in Nexus.

Supply covered

Nine verticals in the same response.

Each vertical comes back as a typed component of the same offer, with the same order lifecycle and the same webhooks.

Airlines

25+ GDS, NDC and LCC connections plus your own negotiated fares from Nexus, with fare families, seat maps and ancillaries in one schema.

Hotels

Bedbanks, chains and your own Nexus contracts merged and deduplicated into one availability call.

Activities & insurance

Tours, attractions and travel insurance quoted and issued inside the same order.

Visa

Visa products handled as itinerary components rather than referred out.

Cab, bus & ferry

Transfers, intercity coaches with seat selection and ferry routes in the same basket.

Cruise

Cruise itineraries distributed through the same contracts and the same API.

Frequently asked

Questions about this solution.

Is the API REST or GraphQL?

REST, with JSON responses and a published OpenAPI 3 schema, plus webhooks for order events. Postman collections and typed client libraries are provided.

Can we keep our existing supplier contracts and credentials?

Yes. Synapse connects to the suppliers you already have relationships with and normalises them. Elkanio also holds its own airline NDC connections that you can enable per market.

What happens when a supplier changes its API?

The agentic runtime detects the drift, proposes a mapping patch, replays it against recorded real traffic and promotes it only on a full pass, behind a versioned mapping with rollback. Your integration does not change.

Where is the data hosted?

In your choice of region: India, Singapore, the EU or Dubai. Data stays in region, and the platform is GDPR-ready with a 99.99% SLA on the gateway.
